Hi, I’m Okechukwu Jessica. A Crafter, Creative, and someone who genuinely cannot walk past a beautiful handmade thing without stopping to figure out how it was made.
My love for making things started early. At 13, my parents enrolled me in sewing classes during the long school holidays; their way of making sure the break was spent learning something useful. What they probably did not expect was that it would light a creative fire that never went out. That early spark grew into something much bigger over the years.
I went on to study Architecture; and those years of building precise scale Models in school sharpened something in me that still shows up in every craft I make today. An eye for proportion. A feel for clean edges. An attention to detail that I honestly cannot switch off.
These days my hands find their way into pressed flowers, resin art, paper crafts, clay, macramé, and everything in between. Making things slowly and intentionally is how I make sense of the world; and this blog is where I share all of it.
Welcome to Among Beautiful Crafts. A space dedicated to the joy of making something with your own two hands. Here you will find ideas, tutorials, and inspiration across four creative worlds: Painting, Nature Art, Sculpting Art, and Paper Craft. Beyond those, expect all kinds of DIY projects that celebrate creativity in every form.
Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time, pressing flowers from your garden, sculpting your first clay bowl, or folding paper into something unexpected; this blog was made for you. Every tutorial is written simply and clearly so that beginners feel confident and experienced crafters find something new to try.
Pull up a chair, clear some table space, and let’s make something beautiful together.
